I’ve been a fan of media / journalism my whole life. From my dad reading the paper every morning to just a constant consumption of reading. I’m not one for gladhanding so I knew I wouldn’t have the stomach for it.

This article is just another piece in that puzzle.

“You know it’s a thing she’s pulling on you,” says a reporter who wrote about one of Heller’s clients recently, “but you still can’t help but like it anyway because you know you’re both playing the game.”

The thing to remember is that media is a game. It’s politics.

Memory is short.

It’s about eyeballs in the moment and when that moment is over, it’s on to the next moment.

People have decided to devote their lives to “disinformation” in all its forms, and I’m not talking about MSNBC or Fox News.

Everyone plays every side. You never know when your enemy will become your friend and when your friend will become an enemy.

Risa Heller worked for the Kushners but also threw a book party for Maggie Haberman.

The only loyalty is to the next story.
